We will provide you with hands-on guidance on installing an environmental monitoring system tailored to your needs. We can conduct regular data evaluations followed by collection maintenance recommendations if required.

Choosing this service provides a report on non-invasive, hands-on measures tailored to protect collections within existing environments - in storage or display. The collection management strategy service evaluates and reorganises collection storage or display systems to enhance space efficiency, improve access to objects and manage collection environments.
Decant Strategies
The Decant Strategy is provided for museums and private collectors preparing to relocate collections. A well-planned decant ensures that every object is handled, documented, and relocated safely, with precision, care, and full accountability. A bespoke Decant Strategy will be designed using the Transportation Risk Assessment Tool developed by EHC. This strategy guides institutions through every process stage — from initial planning to final relocation — ensuring that collections remain safe, stable, and adequately managed.
Transportation Strategies
Research in fine art transportation at the Getty Conservation Institute and the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin provides EHC with unique expertise in safely transporting three-dimensional artworks. In collaboration with vibration technology engineers, EHC developed a Transportation Risk Assessment Tool for individual objects and collections. By applying this bespoke tool in combination with practical, science-based solutions, risks during transportation can be minimised and artworks can be safely relocated.
